WHYLAWAY GOLDEN RETRIEVERS are a small, select breeder located in the picturesque rural town of Little River in Victoria Australia. WHYLAWAY GOLDENS are whelped & raised in our home & are part of the family.
All of our puppies come with pedigree papers (registered with the VCA) & are vet-checked. We provide a puppy-pack, which consists of a sample of the food they have been weaned to, & a booklet which contains pictures of the sire & dam, pedigree history of the pup & parents, their own registration papers, some general information on the Golden Retriever, a toy, & all you will ever need to know about care & training of your pup, including obedience training & toilet training.
We have placed our beautiful Goldens all over Australia, including Tasmania, New South Wales, & The Northern Territory. Our pups are owned by police officers, Australian Defence force members, show trainers & ordinary folk all over the country!
Golden Retrievers are an extremely multitalented breed that can be used in a wide range of activities, such as Gundog, guide dog for the blind, pets as therapy, obedience and/or show dogs. Goldens are also used as helpers to handicapped people & as rescue dogs. Goldens were used in New York during the rescue & recovery operations at the World Trade Center after the tragic events on September 11, 2001. Their desire to please us is legendary. They are noted for their gentle, loving disposition and make wonderful family pets. The Golden Retriever is a medium to large dog, males and females are equally intelligent and affectionate and easy to house train. Goldens are very sociable dogs and need companionship; they are not happy left alone in the backyard for too long.
WHYLAWAY GOLDEN dams & sires are raised as treasured family members & are from championship lines. All dogs & bitches are hip & elbow x-rayed for dysplasia, & vet checked for eyes & heart.
